Why does Blum 563H require drawer sides to be 16mm (5/8") or less?

Inside Drawer Width (IDW) Formulas

Unlike traditional side-mount slides which reference Outside Drawer Width (ODW = Opening - 1.000"), undermount slides reference Inside Drawer Width (IDW) because the runner mechanisms ride under the drawer bottom panel.

Blum 563H / 569H / Movento 760H: IDW = LW - 42.0mm (1-21/32")
Blum 563F / 569F (3/4" sides): IDW = LW - 49.0mm (1-15/16")

Bottom Recess & Rear Notch Geometry

The drawer bottom panel must be recessed upwards by 12.7mm (1/2") standard (12.0mm to 15.0mm allowable range) to provide clearance for the slide runners.

The rear of the drawer box requires a bottom notch at least 35.0mm wide (39.0mm for 563F) and a 6.0mm hook hole drilled at X=10mm from inside wall, Y=11mm from bottom edge.
